Nano-Technology Research Scientist
Position
Requirements
Experience
Requirements:
Background in
solid state physics and engineering on nanotechnology, encompassing a technical
competence in materials design and analysis, materials experiment.
Industrial
working experience, competent knowledge of industrial manufacturing methods and
procedures are a plus.
Chinese and
English language skills are essential. Presentation skills are highly desirable.
Strong
interpersonal skills to work with multi-cultural colleagues, customers, industry
experts, and university associates. Working experience in an English or German
speaking country would be recommended.
Project
management skills.
Essential Job
Functions:
Coordinate
activities associated with related research projects with universities and
vendors in China including but not limited to:
Communicate
proposed research project tasks with university and/or vendor implementers.
Maintain
technical surveillance and administrative control of on-going projects.
Assess and
make recommendations regarding:
Potential
research topics for value and viability, and
Qualifications of candidate researchers for likelihood of success of proposed
projects.
Work together
with experts in Germany on new nano-material and its application
Educational
Requirements:
Masters above
degree in Materials Engineering required. PhD preferred.

Application Engineer
Position

Excellent
background in materials engineering and materials application, comprehensive
competences.
Industrial
working experience, professional project management.
Chinese and
English language skills are essential, as well as presentation and organization
skills.
Strong
interpersonal skills to work with multi-cultural colleagues, customers, industry
experts, and university associates. Working experience in an English or German
speaking country would be recommended.
Preferably,
knowledge in polymer materials technology and system integration.
Essential Job
Functions:
Coordinate
activities associated with related research projects within the organization
and with Corporate Technology as well as Siemens internal customers including
but not limited to:
Communicate
R&D programs with Siemens CT and Chinese collaboration partners.
Technical
surveillance and administrative control of projects and activities.
Identify and
realize:
Research
topics for value and viability, and
Qualifications of candidate researchers for likelihood of
success of proposed projects.
Work together
with experts in Germany on new material and its application.
